At Commerce Bank, security is our number one priority. We take every precaution necessary to be sure your information is transmitted safely and securely as possible. As part of our ongoing efforts we implemented an advanced security enhancement to Mane-Link, our online banking product.  

Why more security? Well in the past, username and password authentication had been deemed sufficient to meet the needs of most online transactions. However, the rapid increase in online identity theft related fraud has demonstrated that passwords alone can no longer counter the ever increasing sophistication of online attacks. These new internet threats have given rise to new guidance. In fact, recent federal guidance is mandating new methods of authentication for all banks by the end of this year.

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is a series of additional authentication factors when combined with your existing Access ID and password, will provide an enhanced layer of security. Our new security enhancement is a great way to make you feel secure when you logon and gives you added peace of mind that you are on the Commerce Bank Mane-Link Internet Banking site!

Commerce Bank focused on solutions that would maximize benefit, minimize risk and minimize cost for our clients. Our security enhancement achieves two-way authentication with a small visual image and unique pass phrase created by you. When you see your personal image and pass phase, you will instantly know you are at the legitimate Mane-Link site and it's safe to enter your password.
